Vincent Price Estate Grim Reaper Award

Originally from a huge Christie's auction with other Vincent Price estate sale items, this award is a cool items for fans of Price and horror. Háry János Radio Script with Price's handwritten notes

This radio script is comprised of a series of narrations for a Hungarian opera by composer Zoltan Kodály, entitled Háry János. It was written by Isaiah Sheffer and performed by Vincent Price. It begins:

Good evening. I'm Vincent Price. In 1926, the great Hungarian composer Zoltan Kodály composed an opera about a very remarkable countryman of his, Háry János. Into this opera went not only actual Hungarian fold music, but also the zesty spirit, national pride and "creative exaggeration" for which the Hungarian people are so well known.

In Price's own hand are his extensive handwritten notes--including an injected bit of humor based on the name of one of the lead characters. To Price, her name sounded like a sneeze--and he went on to say, "God Bless You" both in English and Hungarian, and to include a bit of folk history about what a sneeze means in Hungary.

The script is a mere six pages long, but is a fascinating piece of entertainment memorabilia.

Vincent Price Owned Photo From His Estate

Original 8x10 photo of Vincent Price from Theater of Blood with his handwriting on the back. On the reverse, Price wrote "Vincent Price Skylock Merchant of Venice Scene Theater of Blood, movies 1973). I bought this photo and a few others from his daughter, Victoria Price. She wrote a Letter of Authenticity (LOA) for the group of photos and the buyer will receive a COPY of that LOA and my LOA from Movie Monster Museum. This is a great original photo, vintage from the date the film was released and was actually owned by Vincent Price, cherished by him until the day he passed away. Minor surface bends but still a great item from the Price estate.

Vincent Price Owned Suitcase with Travel Stickers

This was one of Vincent's suitcases that he used while traveling the world to perform live theater, movies, and search for artwork. The cover contains a travel sticker. I bought it from his daughter, Victoria Price. She wrote a Letter of Authenticity (LOA) for the suitcase and other items and the buyer will receive a COPY of that LOA and my LOA from Movie Monster Museum. This is a great original item actually owned by Vincent Price, cherished by him until the day he passed away. Other items from his estate coming soon.

This really shows Vincent's sense of humor. Someone thought this was a photo of Vincent from his film, Master of the World, but it is actually a photo of one of the other actors from the film. The autograph collector mailed this photo to Vincent to have him autograph it. When Price saw that it wasn't a photo of him, he wrote "NOT Vincent Price". Unique.
