Location # HR
Screen used miniature missile used in the crash sequence of the marine transport drop ship. These missiles are visible when the ship is flying and one of these missiles can clearly be seen bouncing around the miniature set in the DVD extras. The production crew had to film the crash sequence multiple times and this missile was used in one of those takes. Originally purchased from Robert Skotak, model builder for the film. The missile is in excellent condition with minor flaws from production use.

The Astro-Zombies (1968)

Location # HR
Screen used machete from the Ted V. Mikels' classic film The Astro-Zombies. This machete was one of only two made for the film. The other machete had a notch cut out to give the illusion that it was chopping through someone's neck. According to Ted, the machete with the notch broke and was thrown away years ago making this the only surviving machete from the film. Machete is made of wood, painted black and autographed by the film's Director, Ted V. Mikels. Comes with a letter of authenticity signed by Ted.

Dawn of the Dead (1978)

Location # HR
Original, one of a kind, movie prop from possibly the greatest zombie film of all time. This is the actual foam head sledge hammer used by the biker Taso N. Stavrakis, "Sledge", as his weapon of choice against the zombies in the shopping mall. Sledge hammer was originally purchased from Tom Savini, make up man, actor and stunt man on the film and comes with his signed letter of authenticity. I purchased it directly from Tom in 1998 and had it autographed by over a dozen cast and crew from the film. The handle is wood and head is sponge, dipped in latex and painted black.

Green Og (1950's unfilmed project)

Location # HR
Harry Thomas called this mask Green Og after the title of a film which was never made, probably because the financing fell through. The design of the mask is nearly identical to Harry's design for one of the monsters from The Unearthly. The latex is thin around the nose and eyes and has begun to crack.

Original pin used in either the first or second Hellraiser films. I need to find the documentation on this one. I once owned several pins from each movie and can't remember if this was from part 1 or 2. This is the last one! Metal pin with traces of silicone from being attached to Doug Bradley.

Independence Day (1996)

Location # HR
Highly detailed, screen used attacker with fully functioning lights from the action film Independence Day starring Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum. This miniature measures 2 feet across! While most of the attackers used in the film were CGI, this attacker was an actual model seen onscreen in the background inside of the alien mothership as Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum launch the nuclear weapon and attempt to escape. The ship includes a green mounting tube which attached it to the wall of the mothership. A bottom access panel allowed model makers to change any internal lights between scenes. The internal lights are fully functional with DC voltage and illuminate the silhouettes of two aliens visible through the windows. The ship has minor damage from use during filming and has been professionally reassembled as used in the film.
