From the Estate of Vincent Price

Shortly after Vincent Price passed away, his private libraries of art books and cook books were auctioned off as two separate lots. A bookstore that specialized in Art related books bought the entire art library. I bought about 40 books from that store and received a Letter of Authenticity from the store owner, detailing the history of the auction. Buyers will receive a copy of that L.O.A. Vincent Price almost always wrote his name in his books, sometimes adding the date and location he bought the book. Rarely he even took notes in his books. I verified all of this information with his daughter, Victoria Price. Prices coming soon.

Colorful oversized soft cover art book with wonderful details in Vincent Price's handwriting: "Carol - Vincent Price Quebec Canada Oct. 13, 1988." SOLD	Another colorful oversized soft cover art book with Vincent Price's handwriting: "Vincent Price San Francisco 1983 November." He bought this book around the time he filmed House of the Long Shadows (an excellent movie) and when he rapped for Michael Jackson's Thriller. $200	Art collection book with Vincent's handwriting: "Vincent Price Stage College, PA 1981 April 10th." $200.	This book is signed "Vincent Price Gift of Perry Rathbone". I don't know who Perry Rathbone is, but he gave Vincent several books. Purchased the same year Vincent made Scream and Scream Again, and The Oblong Box $200.	One of the books Vincent Price used when he was learning to draw. Signed "Vincent Price" and includes some of his actual drawings on paper. SOLD.


Signed "Vincent Price Christmas 1965", the year Vincent made Tomb of Ligeia and Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine. $200	This is the oldest Vincent Price signature I have ever seen. He signed it when he was only 22 years old: "V. L. Price Jr. January 3, 1933" Also, I have only seen Vincent add the "Jr." when he signed his checks. A little water damage near the signature SOLD.	1964 was an excellent year for Vincent Price fans. He made The Last Man on Earth, Comedy of Terrors and Masque of the Red Death. Vincent wrote "Vincent Price April, 1964" in this book. SOLD	Signed "Vincent Price 1964 May 10th" All of the writing in these books was done by Vincent Price. $200.	Signed "Vincent Price 1956", the same year he made The Ten Commandments. $150
